I am a widowed 53 year old female, life time tax payer from Houston, Tx seeking temporary assistance or loan for personal debts mainly past due rent. I was injured on the job back in 10/07/2006 and have not worked full time since then, and even though the insurance company is paying all medical bills, they have refused to pay (TIBS) temporary income benefits up til now, because at first I had employed the services of an attorney but she didn't file anything for me or ask for a benefit review conference for me and has sent invoices to the (TDI) Texas department of insurance in the amount of $1400. I released her services back in February of this year and is now being represented by ombudsman at the Texas Workers Compensation Commission and have a pending (BRC), no date yet on back pay and temporary income benefits which I have all medical records, correspondense with the (TWC) and can fax documents if needed. Still being treated for the injury at the injury center of Houston, and is scheduled to be re-evaluated by the TWC designated doctor again to determine MMI and percent of disability impairment. I also have complete copy of the TWC designated doctor report from 05/10/2007 at which time he released me to work with restrictions, in which since this injury is to my left shoulder, and I am left handed, I am limited to what I can do. But I do have a job during private duty housekeeping for three days a week and I can furnish their contact info if needed. Not able to aquire a loan at this time, but really would appreciate any assistance or referrals if possible. I am not looking for a hand out, just a hand to help me through these times of financial hardship, because I've always worked and never depended on anyone for anything in all these years. Please Note: I have tried call all of these agencies I was referred to for my home zip code (77072) and most of the time I can't get through by phone, and then when I do, no one ever return calls or theres no help available.
